Geoff Hulsey is an Associate Attorney at Rodgers Kee Card & Strophy, P.S., where he focuses his practice on criminal defense, veterans’ benefits and general civil litigation.
Geoff last served as a Defense Attorney at Thurston County Public Defense, where he handled a heavy caseload of DUIs, domestic violence and other criminal cases. He also served as Defense Counsel for the Thurston County Veterans Court. Geoff previously worked in the Thurston County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, the City of Topeka Kansas Legal Department, and the Paul E. Wilson Project for Innocence and Post-Conviction Remedies.
Geoff is a passionate advocate for his clients and the legal profession. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and the Thurston County Bar Association. He is also a Veterans Affairs-accredited attorney.
A native of Virginia, Geoff relocated to Olympia, Washington, in 2014, after earning his J.D. from the University of Kansas. Prior to attending law school, he served in the United States Army from 2005 to 2011 as Medical Service Corps Officer and Medevac Pilot. During his time in the Army, he was stationed in Texas, Alabama and Kansas, and deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Geoff is a member and volunteer of several veteran service organizations. He and his wife and two children live in Olympia and enjoy hiking and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
