Peace of Mind, at No Cost to You

Scott KeeA little known benefit offered by many employers is the preparation of Estate planning documents at no charge to employees. As an example, any employee of the State of Washington who purchases additional life insurance through Met Life can have Wills, Powers of Attorney and Health Care Directives done for the employee and spouse at no cost. While we have worked with hundreds of State employees in taking advantage of the benefit, there are thousands of State employees who have yet to reap the rewards associated with plan. State employees can check their benefits here.
There are dozens of other local companies (Providence, Intel and Delta) that also offer the benefit to employees. You should check with your benefits provider and/or HR department to see if your employer offers the benefit.
This is not a sales pitch or an effort to sell any product or service. We simply want to see more people using these benefits to their advantage. The benefit plan covers the costs of the services provided and there are no additional costs. The process is pretty simple, and usually requires one 30-minute consultation (which can be done over the phone or in person) and a follow up meeting to sign the documents.
If you are uncertain whether you need a Will, or you just want to learn more, here is a link to the Top Ten reasons to have a Will.
If you believe you may qualify, and are interested in taking advantage of your benefit, please contact us by email or phone to schedule a consultation at no cost to you.
