Brian Barnes practices all areas of Family Law, Estate Planning, and Probate Law. He also serves as a private mediator for family law matters.
Brian has been practicing law in the State of Washington since 1995. He has worked in private practice throughout his legal career. In addition, Brian currently serves as a Pro Tempore Court Commissioner at Thurston County Family and Juvenile Court. He enjoyed teaching the domestic relations course in the paralegal program at South Puget Sound Community College for 10 years.
When he is not providing superior legal services, Brian Barnes gives back to his community by volunteering as a head coach for Olympia United Youth Soccer Club and serving as the Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors for Blackhills Football Club. In addition, Brian served as a Guardian ad Litem for minor children at Thurston County Family and Juvenile Court for ten years.
