Thomas J. Westbrook
When people have legal issues confronting them, they need a trusted advisor and passionate advocate they can relate to and rely upon from the initial consultation to satisfactory conclusion while being kept timely and fully informed; that is my primary commitment. Every client and every case is unique. My job is to provide sound legal and practical advice specific to each situation that is understandable, actionable and ultimately leads to the best resolution under the circumstances.”
A Washington native and resident of Thurston County for over 50 years, Tom offers a unique blend of practical business and legal experience that clients have been leveraging to their benefit for over 40 years. From managing his family sawmills and timberland operations from 1972 to 1992 while being a practicing attorney, he has developed a depth of understanding of business, real estate, land use and regulatory law from his own business experience in addition to legal representation of clients in these areas of practice as well as estate planning and probate.
A passionate advocate, Tom has never forgotten that he works for his clients first and his job is to achieve a resolution that is in their best interests. As a seasoned litigator, he successfully represents clients in the District and Superior Courts of Thurston, Mason, Pierce, Grays Harbor, and Lewis Counties, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. But he also knows that litigation is not always the best alternative, having successfully guided many of his clients to mediated resolution without protracted litigation and often without the need for any litigation.
